I’m a hardworking, loyal and reliable girl who is enthusiastic about my love for animals. Currently I am working at Woodland Stables as a barn manager that cares for the horses, and ensures the safety of all animals on the property since the age of three I knew my purpose was to work with all animals suffering from bad health, or trauma from past owners and my promise is to help them to the best of my ability so they can have a second chance at life, and be loved. At the age of three my dreams was to become a veterinarian with hopes of owning my own animal hospital one day as I grew older I seeked jobs where I could get any knowledge to help me pursue my dream. At the age of 18 I started working at a local vet clinic where I started out working as a kennel assistant, not long after that I was mentored to become a veterinary assistant having had that opportunity I recognized animal behavior and signs they display if they’re in pain, timid or even aggressive. Knowing signals animals display is extremely important so you can take any precautions necessary and this also gives me insight on how to communicate to the individual and provide them with sense of calmness and security. After being mentored for a few years I became a certified veterinary assistant so I have experience in drawing blood, taking urine samples, supervising surgeries, performing a wellness check exam and educating new pet owners about the benefits of routine checkups and the importance of heart worm, and flea and tick prevention. I can assure that with my previous experience working with animals in the veterinary field that your pets will be in the most loving and safe hands, not only do I promise the safety and well-being for your fur baby and for you the owner will have the comfort knowing I am qualified and willing to do whatever extra so you can be worry-free.
