Hello there! My name is Petya, and I'm probably the biggest dog lover you'll ever meet. I've loved dogs all my life and I've done doggy care and dog boarding for years. I'm also currently completing CPD accredited Dog Training Course Level 3 and Dog Trainer Course as I'm hoping to develop dog training into a career. So if you book me you are leaving your dog with someone with professional qualifications and experience in training dogs. I'm happy to do professional training with your dog on the Rover prices so I can start developing my client basis, and this way you get professional advice on a significantly reduced price. You can contact me for anything related to dog training, be it something simple as how to get an unbreakable bond with your dog or a rock solid recall, to more complex issues such as dog aggression. Recently I got my own puppy and within a month with me she was fully house trained and learned a number of cute commands (left paw, right paw, sit pretty, bow, etc.) and also lots of useful commands (stay, wait, leave it in all circumstances, etc.). I also have a lot of experience with anxious dogs, as my border collie (typical to her breed) is quite sensitive so I don't shy away from dogs that need the extra touch to feel safe and loved. With my puppy I've done various training styles including both food rewards and toy rewards, and I am equally happy to run around with dogs as to sit on the couch and relax with them. As for myself, I am currently a PhD student getting a doctorate in cognitive neuroscience (and doing professional dog training on the side because I love dogs). This gives me the flexibility to work my own hours and stay with my dog (and hopefully your dogs) during the day. I am also quite energetic and love to exercise, so I can keep up with energetic breeds with no problem. For all services I provide, I will follow your instructions to the fullest because I understand how important it is for dogs to have habits and consistent lifestyles. For doggy day and boarding you can expect your dogs to be on walks outside as per your instructions, personally I take my dog out 3 times a day for slightly over 3 hours overall (happy to walk your dog separately from mine if you'd prefer that as well). In the house I do a lot of canine enrichment during the day so I have a number of toys and techniques to get your dog's brain going and keep him/her happy. Petya was amazing at taking care of our dog Seymour over the weekend. She dealt really well with his anxiety issues and kept us updated with pictures and videos. He had a wonderful weekend playing with her dog Arya and came home tired and happy. Would definitely recommend her to anyone.

Petya is great with dogs and loves playing and hanging out with them. She has the patience and skill to efficiently teach them new tricks and commands, something I have seen first hand with my dog, for example come, paw, roll around. House training went really smoothly as well and you can tell that she is willing to put in the effort to give the dog the attention it needs.

When you book me for walking your dog I only require information on how the dog behaves outside (is your pooch dog/people friendly, is it likely to scavenge things from the ground, does it react to anything in its environment, what are its favourite toys outside, does it pull, etc.). I have lots of equipment myself so I can offer all training leads you'd prefer for your dog's style of walking(short, retractable, long 30m ones, etc.). I am happy to do training with dogs on walks as well in terms of no pulling or "leave it", etc. For drop ins let me know what you would like for your dog to experience in terms of training commands. I will provide you with details on how I've thought the commands in terms of videos and step by step instructions so we can keep the training consistent. For doggy day care and boarding, I only require that your dog is friendly towards other dogs as it needs to get along with my pup. My puppy, just as me, loves to meet all dogs and give kisses.
A typical day
I generally walk my dog in Mitcham Common, which is massive and a perfect nature spot for dogs (with lots of wild nature around so dogs are happy and relaxed). I'm also happy to do runs with your dog in the park if you request that. I also visit a park local to me that has agility equipment available, and I'm happy to start training your dog on that as an additional fun activity. Inside I do a lot of canine enrichment and trick training to keep your dog mentally stimulated and happy.
