Shane and I are avid dog lovers having both grown up with them as part of our families. We have been together for 23 years and have always had dogs in our home. We also have been foster parents for many rescue dogs over the years. We currently volunteer and foster for Lucky Dog Animal Rescue in Arlington VA. We love to meet other dogs and are very excited to host your family member as one of our own. We hate to board our dogs in a strange kennels when we're out of town, and love when someone can personally attend to our dogs and keep them happy running around and interacting instead of being cooped up. We live in a pet friendly three story row house on a quite safe residential street in Petworth DC with a secured fenced backyard and gated front porch area. While at our house, your dog will get 2-3 walks per day through the neighborhood in addition to the walks guests have a few play/ potty breaks in our backyard. We know how hard it is to leave a family member behind when leaving town, we will send you daily updates and lots of pictures letting you know how your dog is doing. If our schedule shows as unavailable and your dog has previously stayed with us, please feel free to contact us and we will do our best to accommodate you. In your request please include approximate drop off and pick up windows. We now also offer: >Home Visits: We will come to your home for a 30-minute visit to check in on your pets. Visit’s will include play time, feeding, litter box and/or cage cleaning yard waste clean-up, and home security check. >Pick up and Drop off: If you have a busy schedule and don’t have time to drop of your pup, we can coming pick them.
