Hello, my name Is Petra and together with my partner Paul we are looking after pets at our house in Windermere, Lake District. I have been passionate about dogs and cats since I was a child so I ve decided to make this passion into my work. I do pet sitting, home boarding, grooming and dog walking in South Lakes. I'm fully insured and registered by local council. Your Pet will be treated as our own and we ll try to make him feel and follow his routine like at home.

We left our 6 month pup with Petra for rest days during our visit to the lakes. It was great to go on long walks knowing he was in good hands. He had a great time playing and was quite happy to go back again - no worries there! Will definitely leave Walt with Petra next time we are doing a hike in the lakes - hopefully not long from now!
Petra was fantastic. It was the first time our dog was boarded overnight with other dogs, so we were a little apprehensive, but Petra really helped to put us at ease and took great care of our dog. Thanks!
Puffin had a lovely day with Petra - she came home relaxed and tired from her walks, with no signs of anxiety at the big change in her routine! I really appreciated Petra's flexibility and excellent communication. She made time to meet with me and Puffin a couple of days before our booking. I could tell immediately that Puffin would be in safe and competent hands. It was invaluable to be able to enjoy spending all day at my brother's wedding without having to worry, and everyone enjoyed hearing the updates from Petra on how Puffin was getting on! I would not hestitate to use Petra's services again and I would recommend her wholeheartedly.
Lucy has clearly had a great week with Petra. She has come home with a big smile on her face, and looks really tired after her lovely walks. I felt confident leaving Lucy on the first day. Petra obviously loves dogs, including her own. We loved having occasional photos and a video so we knew that Lucy was having a lovely holiday! Would definitely recommend Petra. When we are in the Lake District again, we will definitely be checking Petra's availability!! It's only the second time we have used DogBuddy but both experiences have been very positive.
