Pet care experience
4+ years of Rover and Dogvacay experience with many happy customers in Florida! Recently relocated to Raleigh, and available for dog walks and drop in visits at the home of the dog/cat/bird. I have experience caring for many different breeds of dogs. I began mostly with medium-large breeds such as Labs, Bulldogs, Airedales, Whippets, Standard Poodles, Goldendoodles, Shelties, and mixed-breeds of course. Those size dogs got along best with our 50 lb dog when we hosted them at our house. Now, as I’ve switched to drop-in visits and dog walking, I certainly watched & walked many smaller breeds too. You're welcome to schedule a meet-and-greet to see if your dog warms up to me or discuss any unique needs of the pup. I’ve cared for deaf dogs and senior dogs with advanced medical needs. I have also cared for cats and birds (as a once or twice a day drop-in visit). Contact me for a custom quote for multiple animals from the same household. My husband and I have one dog: our 2-year-old husky.

This is a late review, but Peter and Shelly were great, as always. And they went out of their way to accommodate our schedule.
Peter and Shelley were fantastic hosts to our 1.5 yr old Goldendoodle! We cannot recommend or thank them enough. I tend to be a bit nervous about leaving our dog with new people, but I did not worry once. They promptly answered any and all questions/concerns we had and sent us a bunch of great pictures. We'll surely seek them out the next time we need a sitter!

A typical day depends on the dog. Please let me know what your pet most needs: play time, walks, snuggles and pets, simply time out of his crate….I’m happy to play and run in a fenced yard or take the pup on his normal walking route. I have an energetic husky, so I know how to tire a pup!
