Pet care experience
I recently had to put my dog down due to cancer and look at taking care of dogs as a way to celebrate the life and the amazing nature of dogs in general. Your dog will be treated like family when with me. Because my previous dog was going through tough times I am able to give medication if needed. I own my home and have a fenced in backyard so your dog will be safe and secure when indoors and outdoors. I live in old town which is known for being dog friendly and have the ability to walk your dog to many pet friendly business establishments. Thanks for considering me to care of your loved fur family member. Your dog is in great hands!

Peter always takes such good care of my dog. He is attentive, knowledgeable, has a clear love for dogs, confirms any special care requests, is very communicative with pictures and updates, and my dog is excited to go back each time! Highly recommend.
Peter was wonderful with Arlo and just has great, calming energy. I felt very comfortable with Arlo staying there and that Peter knew and managed well the interactions with Arlo (high energy plus some anxiety) and the other pups staying for the holiday. Peter is also very responsive and communicative!
I always feel comfortable leaving Ferris with Peter. He’s very attentive and keeps us updated throughout our time away. We highly recommend Peter!

I have a fenced in back yard with synthetic grass to avoid dogs swallowing any sticks or dirt. I keep 3 water bowls outside to encourage hydration.

If your dog may be a counter surfer, extremely anxious in certain situations let me know and I’ll try to create the most welcoming and fun environment during their visit.
A typical day
We’ll go for walks or I’ll supervise your dog while they play with other pups staying over for boarding or having a daycare visit. If you have any typical scheduled walks, feedings, etc I will try and maintain that schedule to help your dog adapt to being at my place.
