Pet care experience
Located South side of the river in Kinning Park, close to the BBC/Science Centre. I have owned many dogs over the last 30 years, mostly rescues, of various ages. More recently I have fostered for a charity, sometimes looking after more difficult dogs until suitable forever homes are found. I currently have no dogs of my own, so your dog would be the only one in my home - so 24-hour-a-day attention. Over the past 6 years, I have been house and pet sitting around SE Asia, and have looked after 90 different dogs, 14 cats, and chickens, across 6 countries in over 30 homes. Anything from a couple of nights to 2 months including several repeats. All sizes of dogs - Shih Tzu, poodle, labs, German shepherds to Pyrenean mountain dogs. I have also cared for about 30 dogs on Rover in my own home, both daycare and boarding. I will be back in Glasgow for a few months before returning to Asia early next year - I am unsure exactly when I will be returning, so my calendar will be updated once I know.

We had very regular updates with photos , Oakley seemed to be getting on great and even made some new friends! Teddy had a lovely time at Peters. He’s usually quite an anxious dog but he settled well with Peter and was very happy. Peter sent us lovely photos both when they were out and when they were relaxing at home. I would have no hesitation is asking Peter to took after Teddy again.
Peter was fantastic in looking after Conan. Plenty of exercise, lots of updates and great communication. Would highly recommend!

I have looked after over 90 dogs recently during my travels, some have had medical conditions and I have always followed the owner's instructions on requirements for their pets. *Booking with Rover* Once I accept a booking, Rover gives you 3 days to confirm and pay for the booking in full. If not paid for, the booking is automatically canceled by Rover. Funds are held by Rover and are not released to me until after the final date of your booking, less Rover's commission. I cannot *hold* bookings for more than a few days. If you wish to visit and see my home, go for a short walk, this can be arranged within a couple of days of any inquiry/booking.
A typical day
My flat is a few minutes walk to a number of local parks, and to the river Clyde around the Science centre and Clyde walkway offering lots of opportunities for both off lead and long walks which are far from any traffic.

I am retired (early) and I am happy to spend all day with a dog, on regular walks, and playing at home. I would only leave a dog for short periods if I needed to leave the house for any reason.
