My family dog is a 70lb golden doodle named Maya. There's nothing I love more than taking her to the park to walk the trails and romp with the other dogs. My other loves are a Frenchie named Layla and her brother, Larry (a 45lb English Bulldog). I've learned to deal with their unique stubbornness and bring water on walks for them during the summer. Fold cleaning and wiping up were standard fair. Maya had a thyroid condition and was up to 90lb at one point. We’ve had her on medication for almost 5yrs now and she keeps up with all the young pups in the neighborhood. Lucky for me, I’ve had the opportunity to become quite experienced with detangling and cleaning the dark matted mess that becomes a dog when a mud puddle is discovered. I’m very attentive to how the dogs interact with each other, and will normally let them work things out, though I’m always ready to redirect and jump in if a situation needs intervention. I don’t mind giving a long belly rub, a fast paced walk or play time to my guys n gals.
