56 year old Irish Boy from Maine...:-) I've had pets all my life or should I say...four legged family members? I have worked with two professional trainers throughout the years. Currently training a service dog, Koji, an Australian Shepherd. We have a fenced in yard with plenty of room to run. We are on a quiet street. Your dog would get lots of love and attention. Your pet must be pet friendly and house trained.

This was our first lengthy stay for our dog, Oliver. We had a week vacation. I can’t say enough about Peter. Not only does his love, passion and knowledge of dogs shine, but It’s a loving home that Oliver was in. Getting photos while on vacation showing Oliver happy, relaxed, and cuddled meant the world to us. I feel very lucky to have Peter when Oliver needs it.
Our 10 month-old maltipoo loved his day at Peter’s! He is exhausted after playing with Koji all day and can’t wait to go back (he told us)!

Do they get along with other dogs? Do they have a history of bolting/running away? Do they prefer their dogs crated or free roaming? We would need to know bathroom schedule and any "quirks" that your dog might have. Any information that would make your dog more comfortable during his or her stay would be welcomed!
A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks The morning and evening walks will be either in the neighborhood or in a sand pit 100 yards from our house. Its safe!! Exercise is one of the most important parts of the service we offer. Therefore, we charge per 24 hour stay. If your pup stays for longer on the last day than the 24 hour time frame, additional fees will incur. Your dog's sleeping arrangement Based on your preference they will sleep in separate rooms or in our room with or without a crate. I have crates in every room if that is what you prefer. Time I'll spend with your dog 24 hours a day Night and day.... we will be best friends.. I also believe you really can teach old dogs new tricks. Some dogs might return home knowing more tricks than they came with after a stay with me :) I love spending time with all animals and can’t wait to meet your best friend!.
