My wife & I raised a King Charles Cavalier for nearly 13 years until she passed away in Aug of 2020. We then adopted another Cavalier puppy in March of 2021. So we have over 16 years of daily experience caring for puppy-dog. I have also helped to care for a Beagle who became paralyzed from the waist down for nearly 4 years. I just retired at the end of 2019, but I am a young active retiree who works out regularly and walks our dog 3-5 times a day!! If I do not develop a connection with your beloved dog fairly quickly, I will let know so you can find a new provider. I want your dog to be excited and happy to see me. Over the past 16 years, I have learned that your pet dog is more than a pet. He/She has become an integral and important part of your family. Ideally, your dog and hopefully you will develop a tight bond with me too. Finally, I would need at least a couple visits with your dog before I would consider any overnight options.
