Very disappointed. Do not recommend. We paid Pete for three days cat sitting service for our three cats. One visit a day for 30 minutes to add food, add water and clean cats litter boxes. In first two days when He came He walk around our home, made few pictures of our three cats to send us later than sat on the sofa in our family room and play phone. 30 minutes first day and 50 minutes second day. We did not see how and when he add food or water or clean litter boxes. He did not know that we have security cameras in our home which notify us as soon as somebody enter and start record Full HD video. We controlled his visit by phone and ipad from first to last minute. Third day He came with someone without contacting us and without asking permission. Later He tried to tell me that this was a trainee, but we did not see anything what could be qualified as a training. Pete did not give him any instruction and that guy did not help Pete. He used our rest room, took a candy from the box on the countertop (hope he liked it) and sat in a chair. On this day Pete gave canned food, but did not wash cat’s food bowl from old food before put the new one. Also add dry food, but did not add fresh water. After that went to the rest room where cat’s litter boxes located with a joke about “Russian cat which use sink instead of American toilet”… Ha-Ha… Yes. We are russian speaking American citizens (have the same US passport like everyone else) and one our cat use sink in cat’s rest room instead of American toilet. He is in his HOME and he does what he wants and we love him anyway (two our other Russian cats use American toilet, or in this case they are already not Russian cats but smart American cats?). Pete checked sink and took out what was there but did not clean it by water. Also Pete did not clean litter boxes at all. After that they sat in armchairs together with his friend and talked. In the end Pete’s friend wanted to check our fridge and opened it. In this moment I used camera’s voice system to contact them, asked to close our fridge and leave our home. I have all videos from all three days and also another video which I recorded when we came home. We were shocked. Water fountain was almost empty, less than half and fountain pump almost didn’t work and did not filter water. Fresh water was not added in three days. All three litter boxes was full… FULL… So full that one of our cats peed on the floor because there was no room in the boxes. The sink in cat’s rest room was dirty and smelly. We used Rover service few times and all times there was a great job but not this time.

Pete did a great job sending me photos of my babies every day and was even kind enough to pull out the trash and recycling while I was away. Great guy!

I care for the cats in my home with rigorous love and tedious scheduling.. as I do with all animals that are under my watch and care. I'm very Hands-On and flexible with your pet needs. let's have a discussion and talk about everything so that I know how to specifically care for your pet. If your best friend is a picky eater/doesn't like takings medicine/has aggressive tendencies/or is just dealing with mild separation anxiety, we can and will workout a detailed plan to handle any and all situations. I've been doing this a long time and have seen just about everything that your pet can toss at me.. communication is the key so that we can identify the issue and we will overcome it.. at the end of the day I want your pet to enjoy every moment with me while you're away.

Information Pete L. would like to know about your pet

Aggressive tendencies and triggers...IE (food, people, other animals,or sounds) Does your dog not like to share his food? does he not get along with others? Do loud noises like garbage trucks or fireworks make your pet friend scared? Does your pet have allergies? If so what kinda medications are they on?(something liquid, something pill-shaped or something that I need to inject)? It's important for me to know if I'm feeding it or injecting it or inserting it. Is your pet allowed on the furniture? How well is your dog's knowledge of basic commands? (I use Sit,Down,Stay,Release,Yes,No,Stop and Heel as my basic day to day commands) Does your pet speak English or is it trained in another language? I can use basic commands in English,Spanish,French,German and Japanese so by all means let me know what your pet is more familiar with.. What kind of leash system do you use? (Collar, Harness,Face Leader?) Do you use a leash that is 2 ft 4 ft 15 ft and retractable? Does your dog pull a lot or try to lead on a walk? I personally prefer a 4 ft leash that's not retractable that is preferably attached to a face leader or a harness. I prefer all dogs to walk at my side instead of in front of me or behind me and at PACE with me. With two dogs I like them by my side at the 11:00 and 1:00 position and on pace with me.. The reason I prefer a face leader over everything else is because if you control the head you control the dog and I live by that statement. I am quite strict about proper walking habits so let me know everything about your dog including the equipment that you use on a daily basis.. If you use something I'm not familiar with don't know about or is a novelty by all means show me at the meet and greet and we can go from there.. I will let you know now that I'm not the biggest fan of novelty leashes whether it be one dog or multiple.. I prefer to be in full control on a walk with basic standard equipment. That way I can keep track of and work on bad walking habits I see and address them with you. Does your cat like me out random hours of the day if so what time are those random hours? Does your cat go to the bathroom any place other than the litter box? Is your cat secretly trying to take over the world Does your fish ever wonder why you're staring at it.. All jokes aside all information when it comes to the protection and watch of your best friend is the utmost importance to me. As a former boy scout I live by the motto Always Prepared, because you never know what life's going to throw at you, but no matter what it is I will always be ready for it..

A typical day

I love dog parks and long trails but a quick walk around the neighborhood is also enjoyable.. For the dogs that have high energy or for those that just need to get out and stretch their legs. I assure you that you're for four-legged friend will get the care it needs.. When it comes to our feline friends, if they want love and attention or if they just want to hide under the bed. I assure you I will keep a watchful eye on them no matter their personality.
