Pet care experience
I'm a long time volunteer at the Oregon Humane Society and have a wonderful rapport with dogs and extensive experience walking/socializing dogs at OHS. I had a Yorkie named Simon for 17 years and rescued a little blind senior Yorkie named Teddy, who I had the pleasure of caring for over 3 1/2 years. I recently had to say goodbye to my third Yorkie, another senior rescue named Toby. These boys taught me so much about how to relate to dogs in a kind, loving and respectful way. I remember how hard it was to go on vacations and worry if they would be ok with pet sitters. I want to give others peace of mind that their babies will be well cared for and happy staying with me. I'm looking to pet sit on Rover because I love taking care of dogs and want to help others who need a loving place to board.

Perpetua is a special kind of dog lover. She kept my dog Russell for 10 days and every day he was treated like a king. She took Russell on outings and walks on a regular basis. Her yard is wonderfully set up for a dog. She communicated well with pictures and updates. I will definitely use Perpetua again and again.
I couldn't be happier with the care our dog received from Perpetua. She was loving and attentive. She texted many cute pictures showing Russell having a wonderful time at her house. It was the first time I needed to board my puppy Maya and I was a bit nervous how it would go. I couldn't have picked a better person. Perpetua treated Maya like her own dog and kept me updated frequently on how everything was going. I loved getting all the pictures and I could tell Maya is comfortable and happy, which makes me happy. I would definitely board Maya with Perpetua again. She provided great service and an overall great experience for Maya and I.

A typical day
I like taking them for walks in my neighborhood as well as through the nearby retirement community, which is scenic and low traffic. If they like playing with toys I love helping them with games of fetch.

I’m currently working from home 2-3 days a week and have scheduling flexibility to accommodate my Rover guests. They would have me around most of the time.
