I've been an animal lover my entire life. I know first hand the joys they bring to a family, and will always treat your pets with love. My family had a small farm growing up, so from the day I was born I've been surrounded by animals. As I got older I took on the responsibility of caring for our neighbors' sled dog team "second string" while they attended races. I still remember their names and look back fondly on the time I was able to be with them. I recently lost my 10 year old rescue to cancer, she was a Black and Tan Coonhound (hounds are my absolute favorite!). After several months we felt it was the right time to add another member to our family. In March 2017 we adopted a 3 month old kitten from the SPCA. He is all energy in his waking hours, but loves to snuggle and purr when relaxing. I am comfortable with all breeds and sizes. I will send texts and pictures to keep you updated while you are away. My elementary age daughter loves animals also, and she may sometimes come along to offer her love to your pets. With that being said, if your pet is not good with children I am sorry to say I am not the best fit for your needs. I am able to follow a feeding schedule, and administer oral medication. I love to walk and run with dogs. Play time and effection will never be forgotten either. If you are looking for long term care while you are TAD or deployed please contact me.
