Pet care experience
Please be aware that I can only board dogs that are Hypoallergenic due to a family member suffering from allergies although I can walk and possibly offer partial day care to any breed. I offer a discounted grooming service to my clients. I use professional equipment and quality products, prices available on request. Due to high demand and many boarding requests for Non-Hypoallergenic breeds (Dogs that shed/ leave hair all over clothing and furniture) I now offer the option of House sitting. I can either stay at the pet’s home overnight or return them home and collect them the next morning, options to be discussed prior to booking. I have had the pleasure of caring for dogs, cats, chickens and other small creatures for over 40 years. My two dogs are walked daily in either woodland or country settings, we never walk on the streets.

A huge thank you to Penny for looking after our 2 Cavapoos Clara and Pepper. They had a lovely time at your home with your 2 extremely well behaved sweet doggies. One of our dogs suffers with major separation anxiety but Penny was kind and patient with her and sent me pictures and videos throughout the day to put my mind at ease. She settled almost immediately if your calm lovely home. I felt very happy and comfortable leaving them you and if we are ever in the area again I will definitely book you without any hesitation! The most amazing and loving sitter you will ever find. I can not recommend Penny enough. My dog lived his best life going on lots of walks and it was lovely for her to keep in touch and send lots of photos and video's whilst he stayed with her for the weekend. Her love for animals shines through her and she was so kind and caring with my dog Charlie.
I am very happy with the care which Penny provided to my dog Una. In spite of it being a very wet and rainy day Una enjoyed a lovely walk through the woods and returned home happy and contented. I highly recommend Penny as a dog sitter.

My home is adjacent to fields and 5 minutes away from the woods. I have a secure back garden and plenty of room inside for your pet to make themselves at home. There is a choice of beds and a crate that is out of the way for anyone needing a bit of peace and quiet and alone time. During the nice weather the back door is always open to allow access outside at any time. I do not leave my dogs home alone.

A typical day
Our typical day starts eat 7am with a short 30 minute walk around fields adjacent to my property. In the afternoon, weather dependent, we head off to the woods, either on foot or in the van for a ramble in one of our many favourite places. This could be either Grenoside Woods, Ecclesfield Woods, Wheata Woods, Cannon Hall or Wortley Hall (to name but a few). If it is a very hot day we tend to travel in the van to the nearest woods for our walk where there is usually a stream to lap up a cold drink of natures finest.

Availability
I am currently working full time as a dog groomer, walker/doggy day carer. I have a fully insured, secure dog friendly van, so am able to collect pets to take them to different places to explore and have fun.
