Hi my name is Penelope and spending time with animals is my favorite way to spend my day! I currently live in Edmonds but commute working full time in south Seattle m-f business hours. When I am not working I would be so happy to watch your fur baby and give them lots of attention while you are away! I have lots of experience with a wide range of pets and conditions. Young untrained puppies to older pets that need more patience and medications, I have seen and learned so much from my experiences through rover. I will make you feel comfortable that you are leaving your fur baby with a loving and responsible sitter. Communication is a top priority and I make sure to send regular pictures and updates through the day so you never have to worry about what is going on at home while you are away. I have an apartment with a balcony on the second floor. If your pet is staying with me, there is no yard to hangout in, but it is a quite complex and spacious apartment. Dogs will be taken out every 2-4 hours to potty and walk. Cats get the run of the house unless it becomes an issue then they would likely be downsized to have the run of my bedroom. I am very comfortable and experienced with animals of all shapes, sizes and demeanors. Prior to booking I will ask questions to make sure I have the info I need to keep myself and your pet safe.

Does your dog or cat have any bad habits, triggers, quirks I should know about? Any agression towards people or other dogs? Injuries? Food/treat allergies? Medical/medications? No breed restrictions, the bigger the better :)
A typical day
I live in Edmonds and love taking dogs to the nearby parks and along the interurban trail. drop ins and 30 min walks are kind of short, but I will always try and walk dogs to whatever park is nearby, or make sure they get to see some grass!

Availability
I currently work full time out of the house Monday, Wednesday-Friday 8-5pm. I available to walk or drop in on pets before and after work, or if I am boarding your pet, my roommate works from home and would be there to cover when I am out of the house.
