Retired Teacher Loves Animals!
Pet care experience
Before retirement, I had been a special education teacher for 30+ years which taught me patience with all of God's creatures! I will send you pics and videos of your dog or cat having fun and playing. I'll even feed your fish and bring in all packages! Each day of a drop in or walk you will be left with a thorough handwritten note about our time together. I think on my feet and problem solve quickly. I stay in contact with you through the visit and if there is an issue I let you know immediately. Your pet will be treated as if he/she is my very own. Adored and spoiled! :) I have saved many cats and dogs I have seen running loose; I refuse to see an animal in any kind of dangerous or uncomfortable situation. YES, I have stopped traffic to rescue dogs! I will walk, play with, feed, water, and give loving to help them get through the day without their best friend-you! I will ensure that they are happy, healthy, relieved, and feel secure. Extra hugs and kisses, no charge! I provide all bags. You just tell me where to dispose of them. Also, although I will take on dogs who are over 60 lbs. I cannot walk a dog who weighs more than that. If you have a fenced in yard I am happy to take on the job, but I cannot safely walk a dog weighing more than 60 lbs. I AM VACCINATED, INCLUDING A BOOSTER AND WILL TAKE ALL THE COVID PRECAUTIONS YOU PREFER!
Reviews
Peggy is very caring and conscientious!
Peggy was hands down the best we could have ever even imagined. Our pup tends to be anxious around new people in our home, but not her. He took to her immediately. She sent lots of photos and took incredible care of him. Truly felt like she was taking care of one of her own.
Peggy is the sweetest! She is so dependable and communicative. She always checks in with texts and photos. You will love her!
Peggy was amazing and such a life saver! She sent photos and videos and was very communicative and just lovely! Peanut loved her and he had the best walk!

At this time I am not accepting pets in my home or boarding any animals. I have my own dog who would not take kindly to interlopers! Lol
Information Peggy G. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know of your pet's issues, if any, for walks or playtime. Do they pull? Pulling is an issue I have run into, and I have studied up on how to decrease this. Do they need motivation to walk at a healthy pace? Do they have any fears? Is there an area you want me to avoid? Do they like cuddles and play time or would they rather be left to themselves? Would you like to have the TV on or maybe a radio?
A typical day
I enjoy finding out from owners what places their pets like to go and explore. What are their habits? Their likes? Dislikes? Fears? I like to create a calm vibe and atmosphere for your pet before we walk so that our time together can be utilized in a healthy and active manner. For a 30 minute walk, 20-25 minutes of that time is spent walking and a few minutes are left for treats, filling water, giving cuddles, and writing you a note!

I am doing Rover as more of a part-time job, yet I have taken on a few daily clients. Retirement has left me with more time for animals!
