Summer boarding - your pet(s) only

Pet care experience

I am booked through April 25. I am taking reservations from April 26 through the summer for dog or cat boarding in my Port Charlotte home. I love house/pet sitting too - especially in other locations that I might want to explore. I started pet-sitting to fill the void after my last pet died. I’ve been pet and house sitting professionally around the world since 2016. I board dogs or cats in my home in Port Charlotte. I love to travel and am open to pet sitting in your home anywhere in the world. I love both cats and dogs for different reasons. I’ve had pets my entire life until recently. Since most of my pets died of old age, I am experienced with geriatric pets and their special needs as well. I am an avid walker so walking dogs often is a bonus for me! I follow your instructions on pet-care. I've watched many dogs and cats in different homes with completely different schedules and rules. I am an early bird so if you have dogs, I like to walk early before it gets too hot. But again, if your dog is used to sleeping in, I can work with his schedule. I do this for fun as well as extra income. I only take up to two pets at a time and they must be siblings. I am mostly home with the pets. I even have my groceries delivered! I go the gym most mornings for about 1.5 hours.

Peggy takes such good care of Lilly when we are away. She’s great with updates and pictures, and makes sure Lilly gets her medication. It is obvious how much Lilly enjoys staying with her. She is happy and feels safe and loved with Peggy. If a six star rating was possible, Peggy deserves it.

Peggy is a rare gem! Superb caregiver, excellent boarding service especially for those whose pets need to be the only animal in care. Great communication, lots of pictures and updates. We couldn’t be more pleased and have already booked Lilly’s next stay. Highly recommend.

Peggy was fabulous with my Layla. She sent pictures and updates throughout my trip and when I came to pick up my girl, she ran over to sit by Peggy on the couch for one last cuddle. It was so sweet. Her home and fenced in back yard with dog door are like a dog paradise. I will 100 percent have Layla stay with Peggy again!!

Safety, trust & environment

I am accepting up to two sibling dogs/cats for boarding in my home. I prefer crate-trained dogs as they feel more secure in their crates and it's less traumatic for them to be left at a stranger's house. I am flexible on this depending on the age of your dogs. Most of the time, they are free. I am finding that most dogs just follow me around since I am actively working on the house. The house is fairly new to me so there are many projects to be done!

Home

Lives in a house
Has a fenced yard
Non-smoking household
Has no pets
No children present

Information Peggy F. would like to know about your pet

Let me know about your pet's personality, special needs and anything else you think I should know. How long do they usually walk for? How many walks per day? Of course, feeding and medication schedule is important too!

A typical day

Please note the heavy discount for a second pet (siblings only). I only take up to two pets at a time. This is a loving, safe haven for your pet(s) while you are away. I love the company of pets so I am active with your pet. I love to walk, especially with a dog or two! If the dog is especially energetic, I'll play tug of war, fetch or with bubbles in the yard as well. If you have a playful cat, I will exercise them. If not, I'll just love on them.

I am an early riser so I like to walk the dogs as the sun is rising and then again at dusk. I have a large fenced-in yard so the dogs have a lot of freedom. I am working on house projects so I am almost always around.
