I have a heart for pets!
Pet care experience
I have been a pet owner since 1999 and am currently a full-time parent to three beautiful rescue dogs. My personal pets have included dogs, cats, a gecko and two ball python snakes. I have several years experience caring for foster dogs in my home as a volunteer with Labrador Retriever Rescue, as well as dog and cat sitting for friends and co-workers. I am very active in my local community and on social network sites in helping to reunite lost and found pets and I regularly volunteer at my local animal shelter in order to get more experience and training in working with dogs of various types and personalities. I love pets of all kinds and really enjoy any time I can spend with them. I am responsible, trustworthy, energetic and you can trust me to take care of your pet.
Reviews
Peggy is an angel. This was my first time ever leaving my three cats behind, and I was so nervous. Peggy was wonderful with them. Not only was she very professional and thorough, she was so sweet and compassionate to my kitties. She sent us daily photos and updates on the cats. She even took out our trash that we accidentally forgot to take out before we left. If I ever need to travel again, I will 100% be using Peggy. And you should too.
Although my cats tore the house up while I was gone iit is probably because of Peggy that they didn't completely set ithe house on fire. Peggy is wonderfully consistent and sends photo updates that always set my mind at ease.
Peggy was such an amazing sitter for our cat Kiki! We went on our honeymoon overseas, and we were so worried about our very social/needy cat being without us for so long, especially since she can get up to trouble when bored. But Peggy kept us updated with pictures of Kiki as well as their daily activities, which really helped us relax and enjoy our vacation worry-free! Kiki looked so happy doing some of her favorite things with Peggy like sitting in the sun and getting brushed- we really appreciated that Peggy took notes of Kiki's routine with us so that she could help Kiki's life feel as normal as possible without us around. We're home now and Kiki is very happy and stress free! We will absolutely go to Peggy again for any pet sitting needs. Thank you so much for all your help, Peggy!
Peggy looks after my little ones whoever I'm out of town. She communicates problems when they arise and makes sure my cats are looked after in my absence. I truly appreciate her help.

Information Peggy C. would like to know about your pet
Before I commit to caring for your pet, I would like to know about any medical issues that he/she has, and if your pet has ever had an allergic reaction to foods or insects. It would also be helpful to know how your pet reacts to strangers, other dogs and children (if out on a walk), and if he/she has had basic training---what words do you use to give commands? As far as my own preferences go, size and breed do not matter, but attitude is a big deal--if your dog is aggressive towards other dogs, or is very large and overly rambunctious, I may not be comfortable taking him/her out in public.
A typical day
Is your dog active and always on move? I've got the energy to keep up. I enjoy a long walk around the block or a game of fetch in the backyard. If your pet is older and just wants to spend time relaxing, I'm always happy to snuggle on the couch, or to go on a leisurely walk through the neighborhood park. I am happy to give an occasional bath when needed, and am willing to clean up any messes that may occur. If you've got a cat that needs company, I know my way around a litter box and am pretty handy with a can opener! I have recently taken Pet CPR/First Aid, and am currently volunteering at my local animal shelter in order to gain more "professional" experiences with dogs and cats, so that I will be the best pet care giver for your pet!
