Pet care experience
I'm a friendly, dog-loving guy who loves trips to the dog park or dog beach with my buddy, George. George is a friendly border-collie mix full of energy and a love for the outdoors. We love to go to dog parks (North Shore, Crescent Lake, and Walter Fuller are some of our favorites), explore nature trails, and occasionally jump in some waves at the Fort Desoto dog beach. I have always gravitated toward working with animals. I have worked at PetSmart, the Fort Worth Zoo, studied animal law while acting as my former school's Secretary of the Student Animal League Defense Fund organization, and currently get paid to care for pets at a luxury pet hotel (hard to call it "work"). I will show the same care and affection for your dog as I do for every dog I meet. My goal is a dog's health and happiness.

I highly recommend P.D., who did a great job taking care of my dog Trevor -- for an entire month! Trevor is a 50-lb. rescue, so I needed someone with the right energy and environment for him. Yes, I was a little nervous about leaving my dog for that amount of time, but we did the preliminary meet-and-greet, walks, and then single-day boarding. P.D. is super calm, patient, and conscientious while having a dog and setting that suited Trevor very well. I would gladly leave Trevor with him again!
Moving from out of town and not knowing any one my husband and I were happy to discover a service like Rover. The leg work for our dogs safety was done and we were very happy selecting P.D. Our dogs spent an entire week with him and during that time we received both updates and pictures. It really shows that he genuinely cares for animals and our dogs loved being there. We will now use P.D. as our regular provider and feel grateful that we do not have to leave with worry. He is amazing!
Phillip was amazing. He watched my dog, Penny, for 12 days and sent me pictures every single day. He was responsive, accommodating, and friendly. I will definitely use him again!
Philip did a great job with our large, high energy dog over a weekend stay at his house. We got lots of pics while we were gone, and Tucker always looked very happy and like he was having fun playing. Tucker was even tired when he got home, which is no small feat! We will definitely use Philip again and would recommend him for sure!
