Pet care experience
I am the daughter of a veterinarian and have grown up watching my dad care for animals. In high school, I began working for him as a patient care specialist and tech. I learned basic animal care from feeding, walking, and bathing dogs and expanded my knowledge to vaccinating, drawing blood, and assisting during surgery. Although I am not pursuing veterinary medicine, I have my own fur baby, and know how much they are a part of the family! During COVID, I went back to Texas where I worked for my dad again, enhancing the skills that I have acquired.

Payton made me feel so safe leaving my cat at home for the first time. She came over each day and fed and played with Iceman! We felt super comfortable with her taking care of our little man. Will certainly book her again : )

I have one dog, named Jazz. She loves to play, go on daily walks, and meet new friends. We are working on her fear of men, as she was a rescue, but generally she is great with new people and other dogs! Jazz was rescued during quarantine and lived at home in Texas with five other dogs, in which she was able to play with and interact comfortably. Although there are no dog parks near by, there are plenty of safe walking environments to play in, and I am just a short drive away from Audubon which I love to walk in!

A typical day
Recently, I’ve found that I love the walking trail near the saints practice facility! Other than walking your pups, I can provide mental stimulation and training to help keep a pup engaged!

Availability
I am a law student at Loyola, so my schedule does vary. However, the longest block of time that I am usually away and unable to take care of any babies is usually 2-3 hours at a time, at the max. I am diligent in my care and am happy to meet accommodations as needed.
