Hi my name is Payton and I'm a full time, registered, insured, and bonded dog sitter, trainer, and hiker who would love to watch your pets! The great thing about hiring a professional is that we have encountered just about everything in the pet sitting world and are fully prepared to care for your animals. When we watch your home for you, we know to water the plants, take in the mail, and to leave your house better than we found it. And you will never have an issue with us having people over in your home or not showing up. WALKS/HIKES NOTE: the walk is actually a 60-90 minute group hike, but it does have the option to be a 30 minute private walk or 30 minute check in. If your dog has had a history of human or dog aggression, unfortunately they will be unable to join our hike for liability reasons, but I would be more than happy to work with you on private walks. Hikes usually start around 10, with pick ups early in the warmer months to avoid any over-heating issues. We only hike in dog friendly canyons and choose hikes based on weather and how busy a trail is. BOARDING I usually ask that new clients who wish to start a relationship have their dog join our pack hike at least once, although the best is when we can maintain at least a weekly relationship. Your pup must not have a history of human or dog aggression (we can work with food and leash aggression however), and we request that dogs with incontinence issues at least be crate trained. Although everything in our home has a washable, removable, cover, its usually best to know these things ahead of time so both dog and sitter have a fantastic experience together. For boarding, please bring: -Food (with instructions) -Any medication or supplements your dog takes (with instructions) -Sturdy toys (don't bring anything you don't want played with!) -Collars with name, address, and rabies tags We usually use our own leashes on the dogs as they tend to get so dirty on our adventures that we dont want to mess up anyones nice leashes! Few Notes: -Please let me know about any special requests or needs your dog has. This includes meal schedule, medications, leash aggression, or special quirks. We can most certainly accommodate them all, but I need to know about them! -I am an active communicator! If I have questions (and I will) I will text or call depending on your preference. If you need your phone to remain silent, please let me know so that I can save my photos and videos of your dog until the end of the stay.
