My dog Piper is my inspiration for life. She taught me fun, loyalty, dependability, forgiveness, sincerity, care, selflessness, acceptance, and love. Those are the traits I bring to caring for your furry family member. I believe that dogs deserve the very best we can give them. Canine health and fitness is a priority. A good diet and lots of exercise, with an extra emphasis on snuggles are the basics. There's nothing I love more than being walked by a dog. It's the best time of day, rain or shine. I also believe in good communication with the you, and will send daily notes and pictures each day. If you're curious about my background in animal care, I've raised 2 wild puppies who grew up to become amazing dogs, was a dog training assistant at Your Dog's Friend, and had my own dog walking company for a short while. Now, my life's mission is to spread awareness for dog seatbelt safety. I run Dogs Ride Certified, where I get dogs buckled up in certified seatbelts so they can be safe in case of a car crash. My first dog, Piper, was never buckled up in the car. Another driver was speeding and slammed into us, sending Piper in to the back of my seat. She broke her back, was paralyzed, and I had to say goodbye to my best friend that night. I never want anyone to go through what I went through! So now I'm on a mission to save and protect lives, because accidents happen all the time.
