Pet care experience
Being a lifelong pet lover combined with being an apartment dweller has led to my love of dogs going a bit unfulfilled- I will happily use those excess energies to make sure your dogs won't lack company or miss their routine in your absence! As someone who has traveled for weeks at a time, I understand the worry and twinges of guilt that accompany having to leave beloved pets and companions behind, and my goal is to ease your mind on that end. I grew up with various pets, and have amassed familiarity with many different breeds and species; currently I have two easygoing cats. I have experience administering oral medication. I welcome all aspects of making sure pets are cared for, comfortable, and happy!

My dog has a little bit of separation anxiety and she was amazing with him! I also have a crazy work schedule because I work in a bar and Pauline was so accommodating and easy to work with! I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a petsitter!!
Pauline was amazing to work with! She saved us when our other sitter cancelled at the last minute (right before the holidays!). She responded quickly and was able to meet the needs of our high maintenance cat. We were updated throughout the stay and felt comfortable with our pet being in her care.

We all know dogs all have their own personalities, and I will respect a dog's likes or dislikes just as I would a person's. I will do my best to accommodate any quirks that are in my power to help with. I have no breed preferences & prize variety. Barking cannot be excessive, particularly in the evenings, as it is an apartment building and others will be heard coming and going in the halls.
A typical day
Capitol Hill is full of dogs; if yours is social we can be sure to take walks during peak hours to give them plenty of opportunities to mingle. For shy dogs I have a fenced yard or can plan to take longer walks during quieter hours. I enjoy breaking up the day's tasks with frequent petting and cuddle sessions with any animal in my vicinity.
