Pet care experience
I love all animals and treat each one as if they're my own! I’ve had hamsters, dogs, Guinea pigs, and even chinchillas as pets growing up. The 2 dogs I grew up with were a bichon-papillon mix and a Maltese. My bichon mix became blind and deaf, so I am used to administering eyedrops and have a lot of patience when it comes to caring for animals. I used to live with a pit bull mix a few years ago and although she was not mine, I loved taking her on walks around the neighborhood and/or on my daily run!

Paulina did a great job with our dog. She asked a bunch of questions and asked to meet him, which we appreciated because our dog can be a challenge sometimes. She took him for long walks and sent plenty of photos, and was flexible when our travel plans were disrupted because of weather, which was a lifesaver. Look forward to booking with her again!

I live an a very updated and modern apartment. My complex has a courtyard area with a specific fenced area as a dog park. If your dog isn't up for the park, then I'm open to going on as little or as many walks as they'd enjoy! I live with one roommate who loves animals too! We like to go on evening walks and I, myself, go on daily runs around the Wharf, Navy Yard, and National Mall! I allow dogs on my couch and bed, but like for them to sleep in their own bed throughout the night.

A typical day
We can go on walks or runs by the Wharf, National Mall, or Navy Yard! Play fetch in the dog park in my apartment complex or stay in and cuddle up on the couch.

I am currently working from home full time and have a very flexible schedule. I am almost always home, except for when I go to the gym or am out on my morning run (which I’d love to take your furry friend with me!)
