Reviews
Paula is an outstanding cat whisperer! For 5 days, she dropped in once per day to feed, cuddle and care for my two girl kitties over Christmas-time. She was very flexible on timing and sent a lot of pics/vids which my whole family loved seeing each day. Eevee, Mochi and I say Thank you, Paula!
Paula was amazing with our pups and even worked with them on training during her visits. She is totally trustworthy and we felt totally comfortable with her coming in our home while we were able to go be with family on Thanksgiving. I would give her 10 stars if I could.
Paula was great. I would hire her again. Thank you Paula for taking great care of my boy.
Paula, did a great job with Harold my daughters dog, good updates and pictures. I would highly recommend her to take care of your pet.

I have a fenced in yard. My personal dogs are good with other canine furry friends, and even help with different social interactions of training. We have enrichment in the yard including a tree rope, tires, and a hurdle for those who have specific outlets. I have a dedicated "lounge" for our canine friends with two dedicated rooms where dogs being cared for cannot see one another (if any of them are reactive). I can provide a crate for those who need it for their pups. We have our own bowls we can provide, beds, cots, training equipment, treats, etc.

A typical day
Both daycare and boarding pups at Shark and Paws K9 get a day filled with activities, rest, and of course, some training magic! Here's a breakdown of what your furry friend can expect: Daycare: Morning Meet and Greet (7:00 AM - 8:00 AM): We start bright and early with playtime buddies! After a meet-and-greet with their fellow canine companions and a safety check, we settle them into a comfy play area. Active Adventure Hour (8:00 AM - 9:00 AM): It's playtime! We unleash the energy with supervised games like fetch, tug-of-war, and obstacle courses. This is a great time for your pup to socialize and burn off some steam. Brain Games and Refueling (9:00 AM - 10:00 AM): We keep those minds sharp with enrichment activities like puzzle feeders or scent work. This is also breakfast time, ensuring everyone is fueled for the day's fun. Manners Mini-Lesson (10:00 AM - 10:30 AM): Learning never stops! We incorporate short, positive reinforcement training sessions to reinforce basic home manners like "sit" or "stay." Rest and Relaxation (10:30 AM - 12:00 PM): After a busy morning, it's time for a recharge. Pups get some quiet downtime in a designated rest area with calming music. This is also a good time for potty breaks and individual attention. Afternoon Adventure (12:00 PM - 1:00 PM): Another round of supervised playtime with games and activities tailored to your pup's energy level. Lunch and Learning (1:00 PM - 2:00 PM): Lunch break! We ensure all pups are well-fed before another short training session, focusing on basic commands or addressing any specific needs you've mentioned. Relaxation and Snuggle Time (2:00 PM - 4:00 PM): More downtime for napping, cuddling, and individual playtime with our staff. This is also when we can administer medications (if needed). Homeward Bound Prep (4:00 PM - 5:00 PM): It's time to get ready for pick-up! We brush them up, ensure they've had a potty break, and make them look (and smell!) their best for their return home. Boarding: Boarding follows a similar schedule to daycare, with a few adjustments for extended stays: Longer rest periods: Since boarding involves overnight stays, we provide longer rest periods throughout the day to ensure your pup is well-rested. Potty breaks and playtime: We schedule regular potty breaks and adjust playtime based on your pup's needs and energy level. Cuddle Time: We incorporate extra cuddle time and individual playtime to ensure your furry friend feels loved and cared for while you're away. Feeding Schedule: We stick to your pup's regular feeding schedule as instructed. Remember: This is a general schedule, and we can adjust it based on your pup's individual needs and preferences. We prioritize their comfort and well-being, ensuring they have a fun and enriching stay at Shark and Paws K9!

I work full-time on night shift Sunday-Thurs, so my days are pretty clear with my weekends completely free now! However, I do run my own business outside of Rover and I do my best to keep my availability updated on here to reflect bookings through that.
