Pet care experience
My husband, Peter (Chris), and I both grew up with dogs our entire lives. Big and small. Young and Old. Four years ago, Riley, our golden retriever, joined our family and we couldn't be happier. Riley is an incredibly sweet, gentle, and playful dog. She is very submissive and loves everything and anything. She loves showering other animals, young kids, and adults with an abundance of love. Myself, Chris, and Riley are a very active family and love going on long walks, hikes, and trips to the beach. We have been pet sitting and walking our family and friend's dogs for the last several years. We have experience around both puppies and senior dogs. We will treat your pet like they are a part of our family. Pictures, videos, and updates will be sent on a regular basis during your pets stay. Our family has recently moved to Denver, Colorado and we are ready to continue our love of pet sitting in this beautiful, park filled city. We are available for boarding, dog walking, drop in visits, and doggie day care.

Cannot say enough positive things about these sitters! GREAT communication! I was sent lots of updates (including pictures and videos) of my dog Randy during his stay. Their dog Riley was an absolute sweetheart and was very gentle with my small Shih Tzu mix. I will definitely be rebooking with this couple!
Paula and Peter always do such a great job taking photos and updating us on our pups stay. They are flexible and have worked around our schedule multiple times making it super easy and convenient to drop off our dog :) thanks again!!

I cannot say enough positive things about Paula and Chris taking care of my dog, Paisley, while I was on vacation. They sent multiple photos per day, along with a few very cute videos. They made me feel so comfortable with Paisley staying with them and their sweet golden retriever, Riley (who was very patient with my silly, energetic cattle dog). Paula said Chris took them for a sunrise walk and the video was unreal! They followed my instructions (notes of her daily routine) very well and I really appreciate them taking the time to accommodate to make her feel comfortable at their house. I enjoyed seeing pics and getting updates of her sleeping soundly at their home, too. I wanted to use them again for a trip in May, but they are unavailable, but I hope to use them again in the future! 10/10 would recommend!

Our home is puppy proofed at all times to make sure our pet friends don't find any trouble and get into danger. We have a small, fenced in patio that is locked at all times. We would also be happy to crate any pets when we are not home for the comfort of our clients and pet friends. Since we live in a townhome community, we cannot accept dogs with high separation anxiety or who demonstrate excessive whining/barking, aggressive, or destructive behaviors. For our safety and of your pet, we can only host dogs that are dog friendly (with all sizes, breeds, ect) because we do live in an area/community with lots of dog walking activity. We appreciate your understanding.

A typical day
We will treat your dog like they are part of our family. We will happily take your dog for walk/play sessions throughout the day to meet his or her energy needs. We make frequent hiking, trail walking, and park trips on weekends and would happily take your pet if you’d like.

Availability
I work 4, 10-hour shifts Monday-Thursday during the week. I am off work every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. I will be 100% committed to taking care of your pets during their stay with us. Walks and playtime will be in abundance and occur very frequently. Chris will also be available on weekends to assist with any pet needs.
