The KC Pet Nanny~Years experience~

Pet care experience

My love for animals began early and my desire to have them as a part of my family was natural. I learned quickly that my pets preferred to be in the comfort of a home when I was away, where they could enjoy the luxuries of their favorite beds, outside backyard play and one on one attention. This is what lead to the development of The KC Pet Nanny. I found in 2004, when I was traveling, there were few acceptable options for my beloved furry kids aside from an expensive, cold kennels that were far from the home environment they appreciated & came to expect. How could I travel knowing my pets were not the happiest they could be? I couldn't. I set out to make dog sitting an option for everyone, even those within the animal rescue community which I am a proud part of. Each pet parent gets "Nanny Notes" detailing their dogs stay along with photos. Each dog staying 2+ nights will go home with a bag of gourmet doggie treats. *Subscriber to RelaxMyDog . com*

Paula has cared for my dogs for several years. They have become her family. We have laughed over their antics and cried when one has passed. She will drop in just to visit them and say hello. They fall over each other to be the first to greet her. She truly cares for animals by being a foster mom to many rescues until they find their forever homes.

Paula is who I trust to take care of my pups when I am away. She has many years of experience in dog sitting and animal rescue. She cares for all animals with so much love and compassion. She has a flexible work schedule so pets are never left alone for too long. Paula is one of the most dependable people I know. You would never have any concerns while you were away.

Thank you so much for taking good care of Bradley and Baxter. They enjoyed their stay and had fun with the other doggies!

My dog loves to stay with Paula (so much that we sometimes call her Paw-la)! How do I know? In addition to knowing that she is just a huge animal lover (who often fosters for our local no-kill shelter), I get updates occasionally via text or Facebook. My dog playing with, or cuddled up next to someone in her house. Sometimes it's her. Sometimes it's another pet. Sometimes it's her daughter. But whomever he is getting attention from - he always is enjoying himself. He is a very timid dog, so I am always careful who I allow to tend to him. I have no hesitation in recommending Paula as a Pet Nanny.

Information Paula K. would like to know about your pet

I need to ensure a dog is neutered/spayed. Not only is over population an issue but more importantly the impact an unaltered dog can have on a “pack” is significant and I believe pack stability is vital.

A typical day

My commitment is to the dogs I care for and their quality of care is important to me. Your dogs can sleep in bed or where they are most comfortable.
