I have cared for dogs and cats for over 25 years. Spending time with them is a blessing which truly enriches my life. I know the importance of thinking of things that need to be done, BEFORE the need arises...this is just my personality. I sincerely love others, people and animals. My babies, animal and human, were all very happy babies, partially because of my abilities to go above and beyond in knowing their needs and jumping to get things done in a timely manner. My two children are all grown and off to college now, leaving me with two beautiful cats and a perky german shepherd mix. My cats are now ages 10+, the german shepherd just turned one and boy is she fun! I'm teaching her to kayak with me! We love to go hiking as well. My little boy dachshund, "Frazier", who was a treasure to our family, passed away last fall and will forever be missed, to our dismay, we found that he had congestive heart failure. He had a very long and full life. He was 10 years old. We got him when our girls were young, he was so much fun, and so I particularly love dachshunds.😉 However, I honestly love all creatures, great and small. I'm a very patient, perceptive, self aware, person who is very good at keeping schedules. I understand the importance for families and pets to function in a harmonious manner, a good, strong, schedule is a necessity. It helps to ensure a more relaxed environment when pets know what is expected of them, and they love the consistency. Most animals are "creatures of habit" afterall. Then again, so are we humans! I have experience: administering medications, grooming, training, walking, bathing, feeding...etc., the full spectrum.
