Let me play with your dog!

Pet care experience

Are you super busy on the weekends? I’d love to play with your pooch or take him/her for a little stroll when you have other plans. Fetch, cuddles, walks, slow jogs, piddles and poodles. I’m the girl at the party that hangouts with the dog in the other room. I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life. I enjoy their excitement, loyalty and companionship. I have my own pooch name Francie. She’s a little 6 pound nugget who thinks she’s a mountain goat! And for such a little thing, she has enough energy to play fetch for hours...literally. I’m also a foster for the Michigan Humane Society as well as a couple other rescues. I have experience with various dog breeds, sizes and ages. I get overly busy sometimes too and understand you just need someone to keep your baby company for a short time. I feel terrible leaving Fran home alone for hours and hours too. Let me be the one to baby your baby...snuggle your pup....spoil your pooch. :)

I have complete confidence in Paula's great care of my dogs. She truly loves them and they are always excited to see her. She is very trustworthy and reliable. She has animals of her own and also volunteers at the Humane Society and other animal rescue groups.

I have seen Paula's interaction with animals for over 20 years. From her parents countless pets to her very own. She is great with knowing about what to do in all situations making sure the animal is the #1 priority! Paula is prompt, reliable, and trustworthy. I will always trust Paula with any fur baby!

Paula is great with animals. She fosters all different types of dogs so she can handle all types. I was her roommate for a year and she adopted a puppy. You can see how much she loves her and is devoted to taking care of her. She is a very trustworthy kind person who is reliable and punctual.

It is very clear that Paula has a true passion for ALL dogs, both big and small. Nothing lights up her face and warms up her heart quite like a wagging tail and a bunch of doggy kisses. Not only does she dedicate her time at adoption events to find rescue dogs furever homes, but she also welcomes them into her own home for fostering whenever she can. Paula takes phenomenal care of my dog for me and I've had zero reservations about personally recommending her to all of my friends and family. Definitely someone you can whole-heartedly trust with your fury family member!

Information Paula D. would like to know about your pet

Should I expect your dog to pee AND poop when on a walk? Do they get chatty/aggressive when passing other dogs on the sidewalk? Do they typically walk on your right or left side? Are they a puller? Should I give them a treat when they go potty on a walk? Do you have a harness I can walk them on? If they pooh, where should I put the pooh bag when we return to your house (waste bin)?

A typical day

I'll take your dog on a walk around the neighborhood or to the closest park. Walking a dog is THEIR time to be outside and get exercise, not mine. I won't drag your dog around trying to finish the walk as soon as possible. If your dog wants to pee on every tree and stray piece of grass in the sidewalk, that's fine by me. And on the other hand, if your dog is a power walker/runner...I'll try my best to keep up with their pace. During drop in visits, I'll play with your dog/cat during my short stay there. Fetch, tug of war, snuggles, training exercises, etc.
