I enjoy caring for pets as they are pleasant and all their own unique personalities. Some pets I've looked after are more rambunctious and I have enjoyed taking energetic dogs for long walks and runs, but also like playing fetch or tug-o-war with dogs. I am generally in good shape so like the challenges of a high energy dog but enjoy easier paced walks as well, whichever pace or level the dog dictates I can work with. Dogs of course like to stop and smell things and inspect objects of interest so even though I can run for several hours without stopping it is just as well that I get some rest while the dog is examining and then decides to sprint off to the next spot. I usually bring water on longer runs so I can accommodate for hot days in the sun by bringing a reusable water cup for dogs to drink from.
