Pet care experience
I am a writer (novels, tv, film, and theater) who works from home, and I’d love to take care of your pet! I have a cozy home in midtown west (aka Clinton, aka Hells Kitchen), with plenty of fun dog walking and play areas nearby. I have over 30 years of experience taking care of other people’s dogs and my own dog, as a house sitter, drop-in care provider, and boarding in my own home. I love to get outside and enjoy the sunshine, whether your dog enjoys a short walk or a long hike. I am very mindful of hydration and nutrition. I have experience taking care of puppies, senior dogs, dogs with special needs, and families of multiple dogs. I love dogs — and they love me! :)

Paul is my first-choice caregiver for my Pug when I travel, sometimes for over a week at a time. In addition to taking direction well regarding details around meal preparation, walks, and administering any required medicine, he truly enjoys being with my dog and you can see that. Whenever he arrives to the house, she is always excited to see him and I can tell she trusts and enjoys him as her caregiver. I also trust Paul to stay with my dog in my home when I'm away. He also keeps my home in great condition and takes care of it as his own; I truly trust him in my space. He loves dogs, enjoys taking them on walks, and is incredibly competent, while being fast to respond to any questions, and he even texts me photos of the dog while I am away. I know my dog is in good hands and I am appreciative of Paul as her caregiver.
