Salt air from the ocean and the freedom to be in a fenced in yard or enjoy AC at their leisure. That is what is best for your dog. Kennels go against what we teach dogs. Peeing indoors is not what they feel comfortable with. Our dogs are used to freedom in their homes and they interact with our lives when they are with us. Kennels don't allow for this. Dog boarding with me will maintain their freedom and personal interaction. Boarding in a home is much healthier and much more comfortable for the dog which reduces their anxiety while away from home and away from their owners. I get it. My last experience with a kennel ended with a call saying I need to spend $250 on a vet to see my dog for anxiety. Never again I said. I will take care of your dog like its my own. Your dog will be happy upon your return.
