Paul is genuinely amazing! Our 5 month old puppy loves staying with him. He sent updates which made us feel very comfortable and we knew he was in great hands. I could not recommend him enough! Sanders came home very happy and with a brand new toy!

What a WONDERFUL Experience!!!! This is the 1st time I have left my 6 mo. old and she has never been with anyone but me. Renee (pronounced Reenie) is on the anxious side with lots of energy and very attached to me! I started looking for a sitter a month early. I signed up with Rover, Thumbtack and started asking around our local pet store. I scheduled several meetings with potential sitters until I almost canceled my trip. I learned a lot about Renee during this search but mostly what she didn't like. MEETING PAUL WAS A GAME CHANGER!!! Paul was newer to the Rover site so obviously not a lot of reviews and he was out of my area (Roseville). He was very accommodating and able to meet right away to see how Renee got along. Paul's home the perfect place for Renee, nothing she could get into, it was clean, organized and beautiful! I never realized how important these things are until I started visiting other homes. The organization of a home is very important for the safety of a puppy. I was amazed at how quickly Renee and Paul became friends! Paul has a very warm nature that I am sure dogs must feel as well!!! I felt at home with Paul and it was obvious Renee did too! She was excited to see Paul the next day when we showed up for the actual stay. I must say I think I was more sad to leave her but for the first time I felt at ease and knew she was in good hands while I was away! Paul knew it was my 1st time leaving her so he kept me informed with all of their adventures. I watched her having a fun-filled weekend and peacefully resting in between and again tucked in snuggling with Paul at night! When I arrived to pick her up 3 days later she sat right next to Paul like she wasn't ready to leave :) even though I was shocked I couldn't have asked for a better response to know my little girl had a ball!!! I never leave town and don't get out much but knowing Renee has a place to go that was like her own little vacation I will be more willing to visit family in LA the next time I have the opportunity! I read a lot of reviews here on Rover while searching for a sitter and even though time-consuming I appreciated those who took the time to give details of why they liked the sitter they chose. If you are on the fence about leaving your furry baby and are looking for someone to love them as much as you do take him to Paul and you will be so glad you did! I started off believing Women were more fit for this job until I met Paul. Lastly, I also need to say Renee came home with a better attitude and a little easier to get her to listen so I think the one on one training with Paul was an added extra that did her some good!
