I'm Paul, and I'm on Rover because I love dogs and being around dogs but don't have the fortitude to be a vet. With dogs, it feels like I've got a Dr. Dolittle thing going. Strange dogs always come up to hang out with me... I don't know if maybe I need to shower more often, or what, haha. Anyway, I've been a loyal dog owner for over 20 years. Having raised an Alaskan Malamute, Australian Shepherd mix, and GSD, I suppose I specialize in larger breeds, but really, I love all sizes, breeds, temperament, and number of dogs! I throw heavy boxes around for my day job, then I enjoy things like surfing, running, swimming, climbing, etc. In other words: I'm big, strong, active, and ready to try and get a leash on your giant beast-monster pit, or run mini-laps around the couch with your rambunctious Dachshund 'til we drop. I've also been through the cycle of dog-life, and I know sometimes your senior dog just wants to get a little exercise, maybe work a little on strength and range of motion of their joints, but mostly just have someone around to keep them company. I have some experience administering oral medication and caring for special needs dogs (blind, unable to walk unassisted), but would prefer any injections be done by the owner. Allergies be damned! All cats welcome! I'll board 'em, I'll visit 'em, I'll walk 'em (if your cat is into that)! Hablo un poquito de espanol.
