Lover of all furry friends

Pet care experience

I’ve been dog sitting for family and friend for over 5 years, I have experience with all types of dogs, big and small. Also have much experience watching over cats, as I have my beloved cat Binx at home. I’m comfortable with the largest and neediest of dogs, whatever their requirements, I am willing to be patient and attentive.

Paul was absolutely phenomenal and I can't recommend him enough! He watched our two dogs for an extended period of time and he was incredibly professional. He took really good care of the pups (one was a senior pup who needed extra love and care) and he took great care of our house. He provided us with regular updates and was very communicative during our trip. He was also really flexible which we really appreciated. We are super grateful and so happy that we found Paul and a reliable and loving dog sitter in the area!

Our dog is a beloved part of the family and Paul has insured his comfort and happiness for years. And now as a senior dog Paul has shown the patience and attentive care with his medication and mobility that guarantees we are all comfortable. Paul offers us such peace of mind especially staying in our home. We trust that he will take care of our home and our dog the same as we do.

I met Paul through a family friend and he was kind enough to take care of our elderly cat Sheba several times in the last year. I would drop off Sheba at his house whenever I would need to travel abroad, which is every few months or so. Due to her old age, Sheba needs to take hyperthyroid medication twice a day which Paul was nice enough to do for us. He is very kind and gentle with her, she is so skinny at this point in her life that she requires more care than most other cats. There have never been any problems during his cat sitting and I will be happy to continue bringing her over whenever I am travelling

Paul has house-sat for us watched over our mini bulldog Henrietta several times while we were out of town. He was always great at making sure she is fed, happy and has adequate exercise in the backyard. He even took in Henrietta a few times to his apartment and she loved the change in scenery. He was always happy to take care of her and keep her happy Unfortunately Henrietta passed away a few years ago and I know Paul was very sad about that, she struggled with cancer in her leg :’-( .

I understand all doggies have their own needs and wants, and can accommodate whatever may be required. I have a beloved pet cat at home and will always treat your dogs the same way I would treat my own.

Information Paul D. would like to know about your pet

If they are nervous around other dogs/people, if I should keep them away from certain dogs, any diet restrictions, any medicine they might need, any recommended toys or activities that you know they will enjoy.

A typical day

I live in Lincoln and there are many beautiful trails and parks in the area to have fun with the dogs. I love taking walks, throwing the ball around to stimulate them, and even swimming (if the dogs enjoy that). There are also a few dog parks in the area if they are able to socialize with other dogs.
