I spent four years in the Army as airborne infantry, leaving service as a Sergeant. During that time I became accustomed to running as much as 20 miles a week; however, since leaving the service I have found myself not running enough. I would love to take on dog running or engage in active play with dogs in order to encourage myself to exercise. I recently finished two undergrad degrees from the University of Texas-Dallas, Computer Science and Literary Studies. I am extremely flexible with scheduling. While on winter break I can be available 24/7 and when the semester starts I will still have plenty of time available. I have one small dog currently and I have always had one or two dogs living with me. I am happy to care for dogs regardless of size or age. Also, I am used to dealing with cats and birds if they are in the household.
