I recently retired from teaching for 32 years. I am very active and love being outdoors. I now look forward to getting up in the morning and walking my 2 Australian Shepard's for 4 miles in the morning. I am very hands on with my dogs. I have a large backyard among the canal that gives them a lot of freedom to roam and discover the outdoors. In the afternoon I take my dogs to a large greenbelt where I chuck the ball and give them more play time before bed. I believe a well exercised dog us a happy dog because I feel the same. I have a one year old puppy that is very active and loves to play. The other Australian shepard is 11 years old and is very sweet and likes other dogs. I live with my husband and 15 year old daughter who also enjoys dogs. Now that I am retired I have the flexibility to set my own schedule and help others in need.
