Pet care experience
I have been around dogs my whole life. I grew up taking care of my family dogs, and eventually began volunteering at the local animal shelter. I’ve dealt with all kinds of dogs and really do enjoy spending time around them and helping make them happy. I love being able to take dogs out for walks and give them exercise, but also an amazing time outside exploring. I enjoy finding new routes to take and watching my dogs tails wag with joy. *I work in the cannabis industry and occasionally smell of weed from working with the plants. I never smoke/consume while caring for animals or on other peoples property.*

The most important thing for me to know about a dog is what their typical routine is at home. (Food, medicine, where they sleep, favorite toys etc.) In addition to that I like to know if there are any special habits the dog may have such as sneezing after eating, licking the wall, head butting (just a few I have seen from others) that may be uncommon for others.
A typical day
Depending on the energy level of the dog I am watching I adjust what activities we do. I typically walk the dogs for a full 30 minutes, switching up the pace from casual stroll to power walk. While house sitting I try to gage which toys provide the most stimulation for them and play hide and seek with them.

I am currently working full time 8-6 during the week for the cannabis industry. (Please see additional note above regarding my workplace). I am available most days before and after work to walk dogs. I am open almost all day on the weekends.
