I have been taking care of my corgi for over 8 years now, though my love for dogs started long before that. I grew up with allergies to dogs and became more than ecstatic when they went away. I am currently a student at Iowa State University's College of Veterinary Medicine. Prior to this, I worked a few years as a vet tech with a wide range of responsibilities, and have handled dogs ranging from 4-180 lbs. I had also volunteered at an animal shelter as a large dog walker. I plan on taking care of as many dogs as humanely possible in the future, especially special needs dogs and older dogs that need extra love and care.
