Pet care experience
I grew up with dogs all my life but my current travel schedule doesn't allow me to have my own. Instead, I'd love to spend all day with yours! I work remotely for a nonprofit organization, which means I'm home all day and able to take breaks for a walk any time. In fact, I welcome the excuse to get out and stretch my legs -- and get my FitBit steps in! My house in downtown Boulder has a fenced-in yard and a doggy door, allowing your pet to freely come and go as they please. I have extensive experience living and caring for dogs with separation anxiety, and I love the easy companionship of old dogs. In my mind, dogsitting is really you doing me a favor, by letting me pretend I have a pet for the day!

I need to know if your dog is okay being around others, since I will possibly be sitting for more than one at a time. I'd appreciate the chance to learn more about your dog's temperament, since we'll be spending the day side by side while I'm on work calls and answering emails. I also need to know if your dog has been known to get into the trash, chew shoes, or try to eat food off the counter, so I can plan accordingly. I do have a fenced in yard, but I need to know if your dog is likely to try to jump the fence to escape!

We'll take walks around my house, the quiet leafy streets of the Goss-Grove neighborhood.
