The fact that I love dogs wholeheartedly and crave to spend every minute with them isn't the only reason why I choose to dogsit. My dog Jasper wants nothing more than to find new fur friends to play with. It is so funny and sweet when I take him out to run around because the first thing he does is scope out the park to look for another dog to play with. So I can't even imagine how happy he would be if he had friends to play with him. What sets me apart from other dog walkers is that my favorite pastime is interacting with the pups by playing fetch and frisbee. It is as fun for me as it is for them! That is why I don't JUST walk them. I also enjoy training exercises as well as teaching them new tricks. Also, if I am watching a dog that needs to be on a leash I go to the nearest fenced in dog park, to ensure safety for the dog and all others. I am very understanding towards a dog's point of view. That is why I take care of them the way I would want to be treated as if I were a dog. It sounds silly, but I know they need plenty of exercise to keep them from boredom and enough potty breaks to keep them 100% comfortable. I have sat for many of my friend's dogs numerous times throughout the years and always love every minute of it! I enjoy taking them to dog parks and the beach. I currently live alone with my dog, Jasper (Boxweiler), in a very dog friendly building (probably the only dog friendly building in Miami). It is the reason why I chose the building that I live in. My availability is very practical for sitting. I am home all day and night during the weekends. It is like a mini vacation I have with my dog. Monday-Friday I walk my dog in the morning before work at the dog park that's right in front of my building. I then spend my lunchtime going home to take him out again. When I get home around 5:30pm, the first thing I do is take him out again for a long walk. Then again a few more times in the evening before I go to bed. Also, I have had dogs my entire life. My first dog, Pepper, has been in my family since I was 5. She was a black lab mix that lived a happy 21 years! That is just one example of how well I take care of them, since I grew up doing it.
