Pet care experience
I have taken care of dogs most of my life and as an adult my homes have always included dogs. I have had little and larger dogs as my pets, even some of both at the same time. I understand the different needs between the two. I also have volunteered at humane society’s, working with strays, nervous and scared dogs. I learned and understand approaches to earn a dogs trust and love. One of my recent pups was born with kidney disease, her care included administrating medications, SQ fluids and constant monitoring. I am very comfortable with special and medical needs.

Our dog Kaito has been going by Patti every week for the last several months.  Patti has been easy to work with from day one.  Our dogs met in a neutral space and formed a great relationship from there.  Our dog loves going by his ‘friends,’ and cries the whole way to her house.  Patti’s backyard is set up perfectly for dogs, and they love to play outside.  Kaito gets trips to the dog park, cuddles, and close monitoring.  Patti even picked up on a urinary tract infection so we could get him to the vet.  We know Kaito is in very safe hands with Patti and are lucky to have her.
I have known Patti since 2015 and to say she loves and adores animals is an understatement. I have seen her interact with all types of small. Big, small, hyper, mellow. Before I start sounding like Dr. Seuss, let me just say I would trust my doggies with Patti under any circumstance. Even if I was going somewhere without cell/internet and I couldn’t check in on them daily. But I’m sure she would go the extra mile trying to send me hello messages from my babies. Look no further you’ve found the best lady to take care of your fur children.
Patti is the most caring and compassionate person I have ever met with cats and dogs. I would highly recommend her to take care of anyone's pets!
I've known Patti for 29 years. In all those years she's always had a dog and/or cat, often times more than one at a time. She has also fostered many times and worked in several animal shelters/rescues. I've never met anyone as dedicated to her animals as Patti. She researches breeds and understands their characteristics, feeding requirements, medical needs, etc. She has a tremendous love of all animals big and small and provides a warm, safe, and loving environment for them. Anyone leaving their pet with her will soon see the love and compassion she has. She will be a wonderful addition to your program.

My fenced yard is filled with lots of dog toys and agility equipment. Inside my home is pup friendly with additional toys to share. My pup is very social, loves to play with other dogs. She recently lost her sister (kidney disease) so is eagerly waiting for new friends to play with. We often go to the dog park at Fox Run Regional Park and would be willing to take friends. On the days we do not go to the dog park we walk at our neighborhood park.

A typical day
We will go on neighborhood walks that include the park. We can also go to the dog park at Fox Run. I also like hiking at Ute Valley park if your pup is up for an adventure. When at home, Maisie my pup, has an abundance of toys that she shares quite well. We also have comfy dog and human beds for naps. After nap time we could have fun with agility equipment located in the back yard.

Availability
I am semi-retired with plenty of time to spend with my pup and others. I do all of my work from home. I typically leave the house to run errands for a couple of hours maximum, once or twice a week. I have a fenced yard with lots of dog toys and agility equipment.
