Pet care experience
Hello- we are a family that loves dogs! We live in a house in the Mac-Groveland neighborhood that has a large fenced in back yard. We have used dog sitters in the past for our own dogs when traveling out of town and understand how important it is to know your dogs are in good hands. We have been dog owners for 20 years and have experience with rescues, puppies, senior dogs and administering meds. We currently have a super friendly Cavalier- Snickers who is one year old and will keep your dog company. Our home is pet friendly and very casual; the dogs can sit and sleep wherever they like. Know that your dog will be cared for and well loved in our home! Ask about discount rates for one week or longer stay or 2 dogs. My husband and I both work from home so our visiting dogs can spend their days uncrated. We can take the dogs outside or on a walk for frequent potty breaks. We have a large fenced in back yard. If there are times that neither of us are at home (this is very rare) we will crate the dogs for their own safety.

Patti and her family were very welcoming to our dog. He's still a puppy and it was especially great that there's typically someone at home... not to mention their dog, snickers, to play with. Communications were excellent.

A typical day
If your dog would like to go on walks, we live in a great neighborhood for walks. If your dog prefers to lounge in laps or in the house, there will be plenty of cuddle time too. For dogs who prefer a happy medium, our fenced in back yard is a great, safe place to explore.

Availability
My husband and I both work from home full time while the kids go to school. On the weekends we tend to run errands in tandem so that one parent is always home. If both of us are gone for any period of time (which is rare) we put all dogs in crates for their own safety.
