I have had dogs most all of my life and I believe that dogs bring love to our hearts and lives just by being the themselves. I currently volunteer at the animal shelter and thoroughly enjoy spending time with the animals. I get to dog sit my 'grand dog' frequently and enjoy taking him on "sniffing" walks where he can take his time and be a dog sniffing and exploring. I am able to give him the time on his walks when it is difficult for my daughter to do so - because I am now retired!! I like to see the "smiles" on dogs faces when they are enjoying themselves walking and checking things out. My two little dogs are elderly now and can no longer enjoy walks outside of their backyard so walking other dogs is a good time for me - and I enjoy talking to the dogs too!
