I have been taking care of family and friends’ pets for years, and also was walking dogs in the city on Wag! for years. I also had a family dog I took care of consistently and more recently adopted a cat, Pumpkin, with my partner. I'm living in Mt. Vernon, Baltimore city but can travel. I am doing Rover part time but definitely a big part of my income depends on it. I will see to it to be the responsible pet caretaker that you need. I am happy to walk your dog or make sure he/she gets the exercise or whatever food, etc. he/she needs. I am also very experienced doing cat care home visits. I love animals because of their honesty and curiosity and the joy and love they bring to all humans and hope I can make your life a little easier while you can help me pay my bills. Peace and Love 🤝

Patrick is an excellent dog caregiver. In addition to responsibly feeding and walking Jerry he spends time playing with him and scratching his belly which is Jerry's favorite thing!

On a home visit I will cautiously and slowly enter and approach the animal, maybe get lower at their level and greet them, let them smell me and get used to me. Then I will try to interact and maybe play, do whatever needs to be done as far as food and water and if a walk is requested I will make sure they get that exercise. I know the area pretty well as I live in the city and walk around a lot.

Any medication, food preference, etc. Let me know how your pet is with other animals and if they are at all territorial or aggressive behavior-wise. I can most likely handle it but it would be good to know beforehand. Any medical conditions are helpful if there’s something very important to know about the pet’s needs.
A typical day
I like to make sure the pet gets enough mental and physical stimulation. This means playing with something like a ball or cat toy, anything to get the pet’s brain going. With a dog walk I will go somewhere quiet or a nearby park ideally, depends on the location. My girlfriend might come along as she has lived with cats her whole life and has a love for dogs as well and she likes to help me.

I am in school usually but currently on a break and do not have any other time locked job. Besides pet care I pretty much only sell vintage clothes online and at markets. So this means I am available most all the time.
