Safety, trust & environment

Building trust with any dog is essential, as you need to be able to pick up on a dog's cues while also giving them the time and space to build a bond with you. This is something I have always been keen to. I have never been bitten by a dog, which I attribute to understanding the proper ways to act around dogs, particularly new ones. Building routines is important, as dogs thrive when they get into good, positive routines. Communication with the owners is also critical. I want the trust to go both ways and I hope to achieve that by providing a great service and communicating well.

Information Patrick R. would like to know about your pet

I would love to hear you describe your dog, their demeanor, what they love, and what I should avoid when interacting with them. Meet and greets are essential. Any special needs, I will accommodate to the very best of my ability. I have always been able to strike a good relationship with dogs, but I am aware they can be timid or aggressive towards people they do not know. I bring a calm, loving disposition, which hopefully will be the foundation of a great working relationship with your dog.

A typical day

I run scheduled walks 7 days a week out of Dover, NH. The dogs I house sit for are always welcome and encouraged to join on the scheduled walks. For the dogs that don't do well with others, I schedule my day so your dog is never home alone for more than 4 hours. My final scheduled walk ends at 5:30 pm, so I'm typically back for the evening by 6:00.

Pet care experience

Thank you for checking out my profile! I encourage you to take the time to read through what I offer and reach out if you think there is a potential fit. Additional references are available upon request. I specialize in group walks, house sitting, and private boarding throughout Seacoast NH and Southern Maine. The dogs I housesit for are encouraged to join on group walks. For dogs that don't excel in social environments, I just ask that your dog is okay being alone for up to 4 hours. I offer a social experience, 7 days a week, which includes field trips. For approved dogs, they can join me on a day or half day of group walks. Each day is unique and really lends to the dogs that love socializing. One of my goals is to build long term relationships, where individuals know they can always trust me to protect what's important to them. I plan on doing this for years to come, so I would be more than happy to take the time to start building a relationship with you and your pets. I'd look forward to chatting and finding how we might be a match!

Patrick was wonderful with our two dogs. He took time to get to know the dogs and us prior to staying with our dogs for a week by taking them for a walk and visiting or home two times. HE was excellent with communication, kept our house clean, and most importantly provided excellent care for our dogs.

He was great with our pups! He was a last minute call because our regular guy was off. I recommend him and will definitely be using him in the future
