Pet care experience
I'm an exceedingly responsible animal lover! I grew up with animals and learned a respect and appreciation for them. They've been an important part of my entire life. I do not have a dog here but enjoy dog sitting in the city. You can rest assured that I will treat your pets as I would my own! I have been pet and house sitting on the side for years. It can be so enjoyable to make new animal friends! I have multiple references available, as I have been a reliable, go-to dog / house caretaker for years. Expect happy, well exercised dogs from me, and maybe some silly pet photos, too. All photos are of my family dog (he lives in Massachusetts) and friends/clients pets I've watched. I am great with cats and plants as well, so I'm happy to take care of these things too!

Patrick was prompt and he was attentive to my dog who had recently undergone surgery He took her out for a 40 minute walk I would totally recommend him as a dog sitter
Patrick took great care of our puppy Coco while we were on vacation. We got daily text and picture updates. Coco was happy and healthy when we came back. Patrick was easy to work with and was flexible with schedules. We certainly look forward to asking Patrick to help with Coco again soon!
Patrick did a great job. PJ was well taken care of, communication was good, and getting a picture of him while I was gone was reassuring. I'd definitely use Patrick's services again if the need comes up.
Patrick and I have co-cared for foster dogs together. There is no better person out there for dog care. He is great with all temperaments, sizes, energy levels and breeds. He is also excellent keeping to training routines, whatever that dog may need. You'd be a fool not to contact him.

I need to know any health concerns, of course. Allergies and illnesses are not an issue as long as I am aware of them. Knowing a dog's preferences and a little about their personality helps as well. Generally, I can get to know a dog or cat pretty quickly, and build rapport. Having spent so much time of my life with animals, interacting with pets is second nature to me!
A typical day
I enjoy taking long walks with my dog charges. Play time is necessary as well! Dog parks can be fun if the particular dog enjoys the social interaction. I live right by beautiful Central Park which has a lot of dog traffic and shady lanes for strolling.
