I think we can all agree that our pets are one of the most important parts of our lives and it's never easy to leave them. As a dog/cat owner for 20+ years, my #1 priority will be to give your pet a genuinely great experience and help replace the love you are unable to give them at that time, even if just for a little while or on a more regular basis if needed! I'll make sure we have fun, get plenty of exercise, have treats for being awesome (if approved) and sleep soundly when they get home. If your pet needs a little extra attention and patience because they get scared sometimes, that's OK! My family has sheltered multiple rescues and I love the process of earning your pets trust through understanding and patience! As I'm sure you know, it may not be easy but when they finally begin to understand you are there to help and they open up their personalities to you, it's just the best feeling! Any rescue owner will absolutely understand! Having traveled frequently as a pet owner, finding someone you trust to care for your pet with the same energy and care that you would can be very difficult, and downright stressful. If you've been lucky enough to find someone who you trust completely, the feeling of security knowing your pet is safe and happy is priceless! And if you haven't, that's exactly what I'm here to do.
