Will take a bullet for your dog

Pet care experience

I am a non-discriminatory dog-lover. I love big dogs, small dogs, floppy-eared dogs, tall pointy eared dogs, calm dogs, jumpy dogs, walker dogs, runner dogs… My success as a dog-sitter stems from this sincere love of canines. That means I can tolerate just about anything and I am willing to go the extra mile (perhaps literally if your dog wants to walk a little further) for dogs. I am active so I can keep up with enthusiastic dogs. I have dog sitting experience because I have had two dogs of my own but I have also dog sat for other families. I am a grad student at University of Denver, and I work at DU's Vicki Myhren Gallery along with Jelly U Café on weekends. I have a dog of my own named Rogue; he is a good and friendly boy. We're a busy bunch but we're willing to accommodate your dog(s), and probably make new friends in the process!

Patrick L. has been a family friend and neighbor for many years. We’ve had him dog sit for our 8 year old lab/shepherd Lily several times. Patrick is reliable, responsible & very caring. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him as a dog sitter to others.

Safety, trust & environment

I think the standard care is letting out the dogs, feeding them, pets, attention, and company. I'm good about picking up after my dog on walks.

Information Patrick L. would like to know about your pet

Ahead of time I'd like to know your dog's breed and age, and most importantly how it behaves with people and other dogs. If you'll request a house sitter, is my Rogue welcome too?

A typical day

I am willing to walk, run, hike, or just play low-key with dogs inside or out. I have not yet been to a dog park.
