As anyone who knows me will tell you, I have a big heart, and this especially extends to animals. I believe dogs and cats, like people, have thoughts and feelings which must be recognized and valued by their human companions. Dog are little Buddhas, constantly living in the moment. I appreciate cats on a totally different level, but am enchanted by them all the same. I learn so much from those I care for. I helped raise a boxer for 3 wonderful years, from the time he was a puppy, as well as cared for several other dogs and cats throughout my life. This includes dogs and cats of my own, as well as those I have sat for. As a dog walker or sitter, I will provide a mixture of structure and fun. I consider it a serious responsibility (and honor!) to be entrusted with someone's beloved pet. I hope to make long-lasting friendships with each and every one of my doggie and kitty clients. A word about rates: You will find a formal list of my rates here on my profile page. However, I wanted to mention that Rover does not provide any rates for walks or visits over 1 hour (except full overnight stays). For those of you that would like a walk or home visit more than an hour - but less than an overnight stay - for your dog, here are my rates: • Visits over an hour, up to 2 hours: $50 • 2-4 hours: $75 • 4-8 hours: $100 * (Extended visits for kitties can also be negotiated and arranged, of course, at lower rates :o)
